Abstract

Consumers' information-gathering, product-evaluation, and purchase-decision processes have all been profoundly affected by the meteoric rise of e-commerce. behavior of online shoppers in the modern period, with a focus on aspects including ease of use, affordability, reliability, website design, and the impact of digital marketing. how people's tastes and inclinations to buy are influenced by internet platforms, social media, and electronic word of mouth. This research looks at how various demographics shop online using survey data and previous research. Consumers' purchasing decisions in e-commerce settings are heavily influenced by factors such as ease of access, competitive price, secure payment methods, and reliable delivery services, according to the research. Data privacy, product quality, and the absence of physical inspection are some of the obstacles. the importance of customer-centric methods and trust-building mechanisms for e-commerce enterprises to positively impact purchasing behavior and attain long-term growth in the online marketplace.
