Appendix 1
Rules for the design of materials
Articles are submitted by Journal’s Online Submission Portal or by e-mail (e-mail: editor@ejournal17.com) and are formatted as follows.
Article text formatting:
- Manuscript size: no less than 10 and, as a rule, no more than 24 A4 pages .
- Margins: left and right – 2 cm, bottom and top – 2 cm.
- The main text of the article is typed in Word. The main text font is Times New Roman. The text is typeset in 14 font size with a line spacing of one and a half. To ensure consistency of style, do not use font highlighting (italics, underlining, etc.). The first line indentation of a paragraph is 1 cm. Complex formulas are created using the MS Equation 3.0 formula editor built into WinWord. Formulas are centered in a column without an indent, their serial number is indicated in parentheses and placed in a column (page) justified to the right. The only formula in an article is not numbered. Formulas are not separated from the text by additional spacing above and below.
- For references to formulas in the text, round brackets are used – (1), for references to literary sources – square brackets [1].
- The bibliographic list is given 14 kg at the end of the article strictly in the order of mention in the text.
- The article must contain the UDC code, the title of the article, the full names of the authors, their academic degree, academic rank, position, name of the organization where the work was completed, an abstract of the article (0.5 pages) and keywords (in Russian and English, 10 words each), and an email address.
Graphic design of the article:
- Illustrations are created in vector format in the Corel Draw 11.0 graphics editor, or in any of the MS Office 97, 98, 2000 or 2007 graphics applications.
- Graphs, drawings and photographs are inserted into the text after the first mention of them in a form convenient for the author.
- Captions (14 kg, normal) are given:
- under the illustrations in the center after the word Fig. with a serial number (14 kg, normal);
- above the table, justified to the right after the word "Table," with a serial number (14 kg, normal). This is the only figure; the table is not numbered in the text.
