Abstract

Optimization techniques play a crucial role in operations research by helping organizations make efficient and effective decisions in complex industrial environments. These techniques focus on finding the best possible solution to a problem while considering various constraints such as limited resources, time, and cost. In industrial applications, optimization methods are widely used to improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall system performance. the use of optimization techniques in operations research and their importance in solving industrial problems. Mathematical models such as linear programming, integer programming, and nonlinear optimization are commonly applied to determine optimal solutions for resource allocation, production planning, scheduling, and transportation problems. These models allow industries to analyze multiple alternatives and select strategies that maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
