Abstract

Fairness, accountability, transparency, and societal impact are some of the major ethical questions brought up by the fast integration of AI across industries like healthcare, banking, government, and education. While AI systems can be innovative and efficient, there are dangers associated with their deployment that should be considered. These concerns include bias, privacy violations, unequal access to benefits, and a lack of explainability. In light of these difficulties, strong ethical norms and regulatory frameworks are required to direct the ethical creation and use of AI. problems with algorithmic prejudice, data misuse, opaque decision-making, and robotic systems' concentration of power are all examples of AI-related ethical concerns. Additionally, it examines the current frameworks for governance, as well as regulatory efforts and ethical standards put out by global organizations and governments. In order to guarantee ethical AI activities, the analysis highlights the importance of accountability, human monitoring, and stakeholder involvement. Ethical principles should be integrated into the AI lifecycle to ensure a balance between innovation and society values, according to the research. In order to foster confidence and ensure the long-term viability of AI systems, the study stresses the significance of open, inclusive, and flexible governance methods.
