Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the educational field has imposed itself naturally, thus constituting one of the major upheavals of this decade; it has profoundly transformed language teaching and learning practices. Generative AI models now hold a predominant place across all domains, and the acquisition of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) is no exception. This technology offers unprecedented personalization of learning and meets the individual needs of learners. However, beyond these revolutionary technological advances, the adoption of AI raises essential questions about its perception by the main actors in the learning process. We have chosen to focus on students' representations regarding the use and reliability they attribute to these technological tools.
