A person's mental and emotional well-being are also affected by their level of obesity, and yoga can help with that by promoting mindfulness, self-awareness, and the adoption of healthier lifestyle patterns. More and more research is showing that yoga can increase metabolic rate, reduce the risk of stress-related weight gain, and promote sustainable weight loss.
