Abstract

As the sector of digital commerce continues to expand at a rapid pace, cybersecurity has emerged as an important point of concern. As a result of the growing prevalence of online platforms, e-commerce websites, mobile payment systems, and digital banking services, businesses and individuals are increasingly vulnerable to cyber risks. These threats include data breaches, phishing attacks, identity theft, ransomware, and financial fraud. Because of the continued growth of digital transactions, it is now absolutely necessary to protect the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information in order to preserve the trust and stability that are present in online business environments. the primary cybersecurity concerns faced in digital commerce and their impact on organizations and consumers. It sheds light on the ways in which cyberattacks can prevent corporate operations from running smoothly, cause reputational harm to a brand, and lead to financial losses. consumer databases, cloud storage, online markets, and digital payment systems are all susceptible to vulnerabilities. Furthermore, it analyzes the increasing complexity of cybercriminals as well as the changing nature of cyber risks in the context of the digital economy.
